Here is the quote I hand wrote (inspired by this months "Glorious Pink Challenge"): Life is like a rainbow. You need the sun and the rain for its colors to appear.I talked to my sister about what type of paper, etc...to use, since I want it to match her home, and decided on three American Crafts papers. All blue and white! Of course, I ended up adding other colors...sigh...colors make me happy :)
Other products used: diamond glaze to make the rain look "wet", and Sassafras paper flowers, feathers, beads, pink fabric paint, sewing, lots of pop-dots, and thickers. The clouds and rain are cut out of the American Crafts paper.
I LOVE this idea!!! This fun swap was hosted by the ever so talented Ally! Here is what I came up with:
I did two versions of the same card...one with white sequins, and one with green. I added stips of paper behind the photo, and using the sewing to secure the black swirls, text, and sequins. My inspiration came from Debee Campos' ATCs, and Kara Haupt's postcards from her Etsy shop. They are both amazing artists!!!Thanks to all the ladies that participated!!! Can't wait to see your yummies!
