Happy Mother's Day.....

.....to all you wonderful mothers out there!!!  You are beautiful people!

We celebrated Mother's Day yesterday, with Ryan's family up in Murrieta.  Which consisted of.....watching a cute tee ball game, sitting on a soft blanket in the shade of some giant trees (luckily there was a strong breeze in the 88 degree weather), chewing on yummy abba-zabba, and then having a delicious dinner of fresh sea bass with the best homemade sauce.....it was a lovely afternoon/evening.

This is the card Ryan gave to his wonderful mother.  He picked out the papers/colors, and I ran the design by him as I was putting it together.  They both seemed happy with the result :)

And here is my favorite new scrapbook item.....a homemade envelope with a tie closure.  I received one from *Belladrummer* with a recent purchase, and decided to re-create it with papers/goodies I have at home.  It ended up being perfect for this card, and totally fun to make.  Thank you for this fabulous idea, Debee.....I love it!!!
