October Rose

I can't believe it's October already.  The cool weather has finally arrived, and so far stayed for more than a couple days.  It has been really nice for me.  Just one of the things I am enjoying about this lovely month.

I was at my nephew's birthday party on Sunday and this sweet, tiny, red rose was sitting on the ground just waiting to be tromped on by all the little kids.  It was so perfect looking, I decided to pick it up and put it in my hair.  It stayed there till Ryan and I arrived home, and I promptly found this Nightmare Before Christmas themed shot glass to keep it safe.  It is now helping my work desk look extra cheery these days : )

This tiny rose is one of the few Fall decorations I have adorning my house right now.  There are also some mini pumpkins, some tiny mums, some orange twinkle lights, and that's about it for now.  I think this week I'll go through my storage bins and add some more goodies to the mess.  But instead today, I cleaned the kitchen and threw out a bunch of expired stuff.  After this post am going to organize our guest bedroom/storage room before meeting Gloria for a quick photoshoot tonight.  And I am super excited for the photoshoot!  I love doing them with my friends just for fun!!!
