Birds of Happiness

I was watching Le Divorce while making these little birdies and puff balls last night.  In the movie, one of the characters writes a poem about a bird that bows as it flies.  It was beautiful and perfect to hear while making paper cranes.  So I thought a poem about flying would be fitting to post with these little birdies today.  I made them for a friend's birthday in hopes that they would be fun, original Christmas decorations to hang from a tree or the ceiling or whatever.  And now I can't wait to make some for myself.  To me, they're pretty and graceful in a way.  Hmmmm.....what papers will I use???
