This is a 6”x6” chipboard valentine mini book for the photos and sentiments of your loved ones. In this project, we will be using the new Bo Bunny “Flirty”, the Pink Paislee “Sweet Cakes”, a pink cloud paper I designed, and various other paper lines. There are lots of glitter, gold, ribbon, hot pink paint, glittered felt, and bright happy colors that fill this album. You are sure to learn something new while creating in this class. It is the perfect way to show how the people in your life are so lovable.

Please bring with you: Paper trimmer, Scissors, Large Needle for ribbon, Dry Adhesive, Fabric Glue (or glue for felt), Large Pop-up & Regular Glue Dots, Dark Brown Inkpad (I used ColorBox Chalk in “Dark Brown”), Cropadile, White 3-D Foam Squares, Stapler, Stickels (I used Yellow & Star Dust), Tape, & Wet Adhesive (fast drying).

There are only 6 spots available for this class, so sign up today to save your spot. See you there!

Valentine Layout...

...with a photo of my dog "Gatsby."

I used the We R Memory Keepers "Heart Attack" paper line, some Doodlebug white velvet polka dot paper, black glitter thickers in shoe box, Creative Imaginations blue velvet brads, and red heart brads. I punched out different shapes of circles to make the main heart, and punched out the little yellow hearts that I popped up. For the large heart, I hand drew a hollow heart, cut it out, mounted it on chipboard, and popped it up as well. I used a black sharpee to outline all the yellow hearts, and attached the small ones with the brads.

This was a fun layout to do because I think my puppy is so cute! It was a little challenging to only use the paper products, and brads, but I think it turned out OK. It is currently on display at Pink Pineapple Scrapbooks. Thanks for looking!

Love You Lil' Groucho!!!!

Today I dropped off this layout at Pink Pineapple Scrapbooks.

I used the Basic Grey Bittersweet papers, element stickers, and buttons. There is brown fabric paint dabbed in a couple places, and it is also used to fill in the small heart in "i love u". To attach to buttons, I found some white embroidery thread, and then layered them with circles I punched out.

Right now, this photo is one of my favorites...I just ADORE my nephew!!!!

Christmas Eve in Dublin...

...was relaxing, even with all the excitement in the air!!! We started out with breakfast at the Lemon Crepe and Coffee Co....yummy.....crepes can be so delish....., and then moved on to the National Museum of Ireland Archaeology, stopping at a bakery to get fresh meat, cheese, bread, and wine for our Christmas dinner the following day. The museum was fascinating. Very thorough with info on their history, and gorgeous artifacts. I especially loved the Viking section, and a cool old canoe that was almost as long as the room, carved out of a single tree, with one end much wider than the other...it was VERY old...unfortunately, the museum closed at noon, since it was Christmas Eve, so we had to leave early, but definitely one of the most interesting places we visited. Here is a photo from the outside with Ryan and his parents in the background.

Next, we hopped on a double decker bus, and hopped off at O'Connell Street, to explore more of the city. Here is a live webcam for one of it's main intersections. We saw The Spire of Dublin, which was beautiful, and walked across the whimsical Ha'penny Bridge. It was a leisurely stroll. We gazed along the cobblestone streets, absorbing the atmosphere.

Later that evening, we found our self walking down Grafton Street, which was only a couple blocks from our hotel. Earlier in the day, the streets were completely packed....like sardines...very little walking room, just the hustle and bustle of a busy international city.....and now what an amazing difference!!! No one was there...just us and an occasional fellow tourist. It was like a zombie movie... deserted...except we had brilliant Christmas Lights as our sign of some life still in existence....I kinda loved it!!! It felt magical...

Will post more pics from the vaca soon...until then, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!
