{fall} wreath

Inspired by Stephanie's beautiful Autumn wreath, I decided to make my own this weekend!.....the first of my Fall decorations to add a bit of seasonal color to my home.

To make these yarn wreaths, all I do is wrap yarn tightly around a styrofoam form. I like to secure each section of yarn with small pins in the back. When I make these for others I have always made them more decorative, but I personally like a more simplistic look most of the time, so to finish this one off, all I did was add the pink and yellow striped ribbon and an orange butterfly.  It feels great to make one of these for myself.....finally.  <3 Carrie
